Gaming hardware developer Thrustmaster has revealed its new T150 Force Feedback wheel that is primarily aimed at the budget side of the market.

The new wheel is aimed at the PlayStation 3 and 4 consoles but is also fully compatible with PC systems (PC compatible with Windows® 10/8/7/Vista/XP). Thrustmaster already provides the drivers at the http://ts.thrustmaster.com website.

The wheel will be available in two versions. A blue T150 Force Feedback version and a red T150 Ferrari Wheel Force Feedback version that will only become available in Europe. The T150 Force Feedback and T150 Ferrari Wheel Force Feedback will both be available in October, at a suggested retail price of €199.99 / $199.99 / £169.99 (taxes included).

Even though the T150 is marketed as a budget priced force feedback wheel, the new T150 is equipped with an impressive set of features.

  • For optimal compatibility on both the PS4 and PS3 console systems, The T150 features PlayStation certified embedded software and is fitted with a PS4/PS3 sliding switch.
  • Immersion TouchSense® technology
  • Drive system with adjustable Force Feedback
  • Rotation angle adjustable from 270° to 1080°
  • optical reading with 12-bit resolution (i.e. 4,096 values on the wheel’s steering axis)
  • Mixed belt-pulley and gears system
  • Internal memory and upgradeable firmware
  • Robust and versatile attachment system, compatible with all mounts (desks, tables, etc.)
  • Built-in official buttons for PlayStation®4 (PS/SHARE/OPTIONS)
  • 11”/28 cm in diameter, with an ergonomic design, perfectly adapted for all driving games
  • Rubber-coated wheel grips
  • 2 large, wheel-mounted sequential paddle shifters
  • 5”/13 cm tall – 100% metal – Tact switch with life cycle exceeding 500,000 activation’s
  • 13 action buttons (including 2 on the base) + 1 D-Pad
  • Large, optimized pedal set with wide foot rest
  • Each pedal’s angle of inclination can be adjusted
  • Brake pedal with progressive resistance

Here in Brazil it will be an important add-on considering the price of the high-ended wheels T300 and T500 (something close to U$ 1000).

Positive features:
- 1080º
- Fully compatible with T3PA pedals and TH8A shifter
- Firmware upgrade support.

Have to wait for the official brazilian price, but I guess I'll give some rest to my F430 FFB wheel...
