    Hello everyone. Here's some of the main Formula One stories that I've seen this week.

    [HR][/HR]HRT confirm KERS for 2012

    Hispania have confirmed that they will be running KERS next season, through their technical partnership with Williams.
    The partnership will also see HRT running Williams gearboxes.

    [HR][/HR]Formula One Comission meets in Geneva

    The Formula One Comission, consisting of people such as Jean Todt, Bernie Ecclestone and numerous other officials are meeting in Geneva today to discuss various issues and topics. Including:

    -Name changes for Renault, Lotus and Virgin
    (Edit: All 3 name changes have been approved)
    -Concerns over the 2012 Bahrain, Korea and Texas GPs
    -Teams concerns over the size of future race calenders
    -Technical Partnerships potentially breaching the Concorde Agreement
    -Ferrari's proposal to run third cars next year.
    -Safety Car Regulations when picking up lapped cars
    -Q3 changes: Discussing possible regulation changes to stop teams not running to save tyres.

    Red Bull planning Milton Keynes celebration

    Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber will both be taking part in a showcar run in the centre of Milton Keynes as part of a home-town celebration for their second Championship-winning season.

    Red Bull and Toro Rosso give young talents a chance to shine

    Jean-Eric Vergne will get the opportunity to drive the Championship winning Red Bull RB7 car at the Young Driver's test in Abu Dhabi.
    Fellow GP2 driver Stefano Coletti will get his opportunity along with Auto GP Champion Kevin Ceccon in Abu Dhabi with Toro Rosso.

    Michael joins McLaren for final two races

    Sam Michael has been given permission to end his Garden Leave with Williams early and join his new team, McLaren.
    Michael will be able to join the team at the final two races in Abu Dhabi and Brazil.

    Rumour has it that Raikkonen will be at Abu Dhabi next weekend to announce his signing for Williams. Just a rumour.

    usually when theres this much rumour of something happening it ends up true, due to more people on the inside giving out more information.

    i think the record for most WDC drivers in a season will be broken in 2012 if thats the case.

    McLaren boss Martin Whitmarsh has let slip that Jenson Button's new contract is for 3 years.
    Previously, it was only revealed that he had signed a "multi-year" contract with the team.
    Whitmarsh was quoted this week as saying "Let's hope it continues like that as we have another three exciting years with him to go"
