It does look very cool. Bit of a dolphin look :)

  3. Just read the design above would be illegal but from what i´ve read, we can expect something similar :)
Yea dolphin was the first thing that popped into my head as well hehe,

The car passed all of it´s tests now aswell, they came in with a ultra-light chassis hence the failure but now everything seems like it´s good to go.

  7. Great stuff guys, thanks, I´ll put them in order of dates.

When pictures get released please post them in here :)

  8. The noses on those pictures have pretty large turning vanes beneath them. Aren't those illegal in 2012 because the area below the nose cone must be free of bodywork? This is something I've been wondering for a while now because those are not the first '12 sketches with turning vanes on them...

On the aesthetics: Ugh. Lucky the one above is illegal. The one below is okay-ish though.

  9. I just realised where i remember the nose design from :)

Has anyone played Abe Exodus? (awesome game btw) There´s a creature in that which i think looks spot on to the noses above :)

  11. Thanks Chris,

It seems Ferrari is also developing their own version of the F-duct front wing that Mercedes "invented".
Hopefully all of these innovations don´t spread the top trio to much, i really want to see who´s the best man in as close to equal machines as possible.

That whole front wing f-duct idea seems to have gone quiet.
I still don't fully understand how it works.

Really intrigued to see the car now if it turned out to have exposed crash structures with aero functions.

  15. It will be highly interesting this because if they are alone in this on launch-day then they will be alone in having it for the rest of the season right? Or can you do crash tests in the middle of a season?

Interesting. The only major thing I can notice is the 'wings' behind the barge boards

  17. Notice also the sidepods which are almost cut in half compared to last year. "width-wise" if you look at the car from above.

Oh yeah. I wonder how that will affect them in hot countries
