The BMW M3 GT2

Hey there, i hope everyone is enjoying the "game"
I have put many hours into this and I just cant get enough, the more hours you put in each car the more depth you find out hiding underneath.
I just wanted to say this: The M3 GT2, a disappointment at first, i thought i was driving on rails but after putting a lot of time into it, OH MY GOD. It feels so good, nothing i have ever driven in a sim. At lower speeds its a damn train but when you open the taps it feels RIGHT. Nothing feels as good as going through the 1st turn @ silverstone on 5th gear flat out.

Also, watching this thing going around in replay mode it looks so damn real.

I just had to share my thoughts with you, i am a happy man.

p.s. 458 ROCKS
p.s.2 i cant drift to save my life - Edit: I can now drift :D
p.s.3 You know that a "game" is REALLY good when your English is not good enough to describe how good it feels.

These "Aliens" doing 1:41's on default setup are hitting the curbs and the car isn't even moving. So I think part of that default setup includes a healthy dose of stability control and a few setup tweaks.

I know when I hit a curb on default setup the car bounces violently off them.

Not true, you have to be agressive and smooth. Use the correct amount of kerb, use to much and the car bounces forever. Here is my lap, a 41.5 with default setup (around 15-20 liters, one click more forward brake bias, thats it) with no driving aids. (Lost a few tenths in Variante Alta)

Hmmm, I thought the older ones with the sequential stick didn't have auto-blip, and the newer ones with paddles had it ?

I was unsure too but it seems correct

Shifting is simple. Push the lever forward to go down a gear; pull it back to go up a ratio. The clutch is necessary to get rolling out of pit lane but isn’t required on the move. The transmission has a “shift without lift” feature that allows the driver to stay hard on the throttle during upshifts. On downshifts, the electronics automatically blip the gas.

you beat my current PB by 0.002s, this is not acceptable... :D:D:p
I had a faster lap with just a tiny litle bit of wide before this one a day ago but i did not recorded since i felt its not clean but it was 1,43,3...
Also i noticeed that when i get a faster sector i lose in other..its a curse lol
Agree with Arkadiusz on this part "There is no other way to go below 1,42 (and even 1,43 I believe)." without going to wide....
Maybe with a better setup i can go under 43...lets say 1,42,8 or 9 but thats just another way to say it 1,43...
Another thing i noticed its not the curbs that kills you...its the throttle...If you hit a bump, let go of the gas a bit and let the car to settle before going back on full throttle.
If not you got a bounce out of control rear tires spin car...lol

yeah I was just having some fun at vallalunga with 458 and M3 and suddenly after driving over curb my car lanuched so high into air that I firstly thought that Assetto Corsa magically switched into Microsoft Flight Simulator or Lock On Flamming Cliffs... But landing in the two latter titles was always going my way... well... not this time.
