Just wondering how team development happens in career mode over multiple years.
E.g. at the moment I'm driving Williams and I've got a renewal offer for next year. As I'm comfortably beating my objectives and I'm generally finishing between 6th-11th in every race, battling with the Renault and Mercedes cars, will the car's overall speed be better next season? Is there a pattern to that kind of development? Is it random? Or totally non-existent? I've heard snippets about it but only small remarks as opposed to a thread explaining it.
Trying to decide whether to renew or not as at the moment my options for potential rivals are useless as I'm just clear of the Mercs and Renaults but miles behind the Ferrari of Massa. I'm just about to start Hungary so I guess the rival choice is coming up soon.
