Hey Guys

I am really excited about PCARS and am wondering if it will run on my current rig. Here are my specs.

AMD A6-6400K 3.90 ghz
4 gigs ram
Win 8.1 64 bit
NVidia Geforce GT 630 - 2 gigs

Do you think will run on medium to high? I would like between 24 and 60 fps ideally. I figure I need to upgrade the RAM, which I was planning to do anyway.

Any thoughts?

You have an "okay" cpu & ram but... how to put this in a kind manner... your gpu is... uhm... you know...

Definitely upgrade the gpu as it is simply inadequate for not just racing sims but any game that came out after 2012. I'm afraid you may not even be able to play at medium settings with this gpu.

You could have a look to http://www.cpubenchmark.net/mid_range_cpus.html... Your CPU mark is 2381, far less than the required Intel Core2 Quad Q8400 (3232)

On http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/ the minimum GPU mark is a 1116 for a GTX 260... Your card is rated 741.

Then I don't think your configuration is able to support medium quality rendering of Project Cars at at a descent FPS. It may also be difficult to get low quality at a descent frame rate but I don't know what could be done at the official minimum configuration.

In order to know what could be done with my GT 640 (a little more powered than the minimum configuration), I would be interested to know what FPS could you get with your card at the minimum quality, 1920x1080, and which card you have.

A little proportionality calculation with performance rates could get me some hints about the FPS I could get from my configuration.
