Your system also requires that you can put a CD/DVD in it.

This is getting so offtopic, so its locked
  8. Little kick. I don''t want to open a new topic.
I just want to now if this is good PC to play Race Pro.

    Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 2x2,80GHz 3MB Box
    EVGA GeForce 9500GT 512MB DDR2 PCI-E
    2048 MB DDR2/800 Dimm Bulk

Nope you need an XBOX for race pro :)

But for race 07 im sure it will be fine! tho the GFX card may let it down a little.
  10. Race 07 i mean lol. My bad. ;)

Ahh no worries I knew what you on about :) PC looks good, though as I say im not sure about the GFX card, running a 8800GT here and it has plenty enough power.
I would think it would be OK but lets see what the techies here think :)
  12. Go buy GTR-Evolution :) It has race 07 in it + lots of goodies.

Or you could wait until Race On comes out which will have everything I believe. Anyone else sure on that/
  13. Think it has everything but Evo

  14. My another choice is a XFX GeForce 9600GT 512MB DDR3 DVI PCI-E. But i don't think it's much stronger. :)

OK. just a thought, It was about the best auto compare site I could find :) Im sure a techie will be on this thread soon to give you some decent advice!

    Good luck!
  16. Well I'm a tech :p

Get a card with 1gb video RAM and has 256-bit memory bus or higher.

They are dirt cheap now. I got my 9800GTX+ 1gb for about $125 (US).

We could have debates all day about if you really need 1gb video RAM for Evo and I'm sure people will tell you they can run it on all MAX settings with an old Voodoo card....

    Just worry about 2 things:

Get 1gb video memory (just do it :p)

And make sure it's at least 256-bit memory bus.

You'll be glad you did :)

(of course get the fastest core and memory speeds you can with the above parameters and within your budget)
  17. Thats becoming really expensive. ;)
I was already coming to my max.
  18. Well in that case, the 9600GT is a decent card. I had one before I got my new one.

It did the job very well. It could run everything on MAX except shadows @ 1680x1050 with 8x AA and 8x AF @ 60fps (vsync enabled)
