    Yesterday i've formatted my HD.
Made some changes in the partitions,
and installed Vista and GTRE back on.

But now i got a "problem" with GTRE.
Every first race, when i start GTRE, the screen freezes (only once) for about 10 till 15 sec,
    and then the race continued.
This happens mostly in the first lap.

I had no problems with GTRE, before formatting my HD.

With taskmanager, it shows nothing strange.

Windows update, and AV update are turned off.

Strangely, when GTRE starts up, i got only the intro movie of Race 07 and GTRE.
STCC wich is also installed, doesn't show its intro movie anymore.
(the tracks and car are available ingame)

I was wandering, if somebody had the same problem,
or if somebody know how to solve this.

i have the same problem - as do a number of people i've spoken to - since the patch the game just locks up for 5 or 10 seconds occassionally.... sometimes this crashes the graphics and i haveta restart gtre....

also have the same thing with the intro movies, nowt to worry about there....

    Thanks.

I was thinking about reinstalling the whole thing again.:laugh2:
If it is the latest patch, maybe Simbin can solve it...

Strangely, before the clean up of my computer, i had the latest patch installed, without any problems.:confused2:
