changing from a session to the next, the tyres goes always to HARD tyres

think this is due to the cars hdc file it is like a normal race07 file like this:
FrontTireCompoundSetting=0
RearTireCompoundSetting=0

but a gtr2 car with different tyre choice it is written like:
FrontTireCompoundSetting=1
RearTireCompoundSetting=1

lol David, its the experience, but a different folder structure can cause problems which then have to be solved, etc etc etc

One other detail which could confuse guys, in the \Gamedata\Teams\STC Doran Cup folder there are 2 tyre files that arn't used DJE4.tyr (old version of the correct tyre which is in the \Gamedata\Teams\STC Doran Cup\STC Doran JE4 folder) and STC.tyr (Whic is the old tyre from the previous mod)

not quite true although this DJE4.tyr is an orphan file, the STC.tyr file IS needed as there is a mistake in the Safetycar_STC.hdc file where i presume it was supposed to point to the Safetycar_STC.tyr file but instead it points to STC.tyr, so if anyone has deleted this file they will probably get booted from the server on race night

Thx neil, didn't look that far. But i doubt very much you get booted by deleting the STC.tyr file as like you say it is used for the satefty car. Server doesn't check files which you don't use (no point it does). So as long as you don't use the safety car you should be fine, even when it is on track.
