Dutch sports car manufacturer Spyker has revealed that the setting for it's next big reveal will be the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in California, USA.
16 August 2013 will see the B6 Venator Spyder Concept be revealed, with the press conference starting at 8:50am.
Spyker's B6 Venator Concept was revealed at Geneva 2013. The two door, mid-engined car features a 375 BHP V6 slotted onto a 6 speed automatic gearbox driving the rear wheels.
Weighing in at only 1400kg due to it's aluminium chassis and fully carbon fibre body panels, the B6 competes fiercely against competitors from better known marques.
Spyker revealed a sole teaser image on their website, showing a faint outline of a convertible B6. Fabric covers the rear seats, and the car is expected to be adorned with leather & aluminium trim much like the B6 Coupe.
The B6 Spyder is expected to cost around £100,000 to £130,000, slotting in just shy of the Ferrari California. As with most convertible models, the coupe should cost somewhat less than the Spyder.
Also in development in Zeewolde is the D8. Spyker revealed a concept 'Peking-to-Paris' SUV in 2006, slated for a 2014 release. Featuring a V8 engine, the car is designed in the same style as Spyker's sports cars, and is expected to be a direct competitor to the Porsche Cayenne & Mercedes GL series.
