F1 2010 split times

hi, i was wondering if there was any way that your split times could be shown on the wheel in the game, like in real life. i'd rather be looking at the wheel than in the top corner of the screen, especially when the sky is bright and you cant see the numbers. Would this require a mod, or is there an easier way to do it?
