Skinpacks for GT Legends

All - It's getting to the stage now where the skinpacks are getting a bit unwieldy in size, with lots of things packed into them, and negating the original benefits of combining them into single class downloads.

Over the next few weeks - once I come back from my hols - I'm going to be breaking them down into car model downloads to make them :-

a) easier to download, and
b) easier to diagnose if there is a rogue element among them

I won't distinguish between variants within a model because that would get too messy.

So, as an example, the BMW CSL pack will contain the Schnitzer, Alpina & CS2800 skins.

I saw a screenshot at another site of a race full of Escort "Mexico" liveried cars, which I thought looked great, despite (or more probably because of) the simplicity of the liveries.

I had a look at the cars in the download, and the cars/skins are for use on the Default GTL Escort RS2000 which is great, but the Mexicos were originally only 1600GT models.

So - I'm going to knock up a set of standard Mexico skins myself (from scratch), but designed for the 1600 engined Escort FVA mod (the one that we used in S7 of RDHGP), and sort out a single make series for it.

Everyone who drove it in the League loved the handling, and as it would be a single make series, there would be no engine discrepancies, making playing field nice and level (apart from Bob Miley, who is clearly some kind of magician in it).

The superb grip and handling would make it more conducive to series racing than the lairier RS2000, which - while a superb wheeze - can really bite you if you're not paying attention, and can end races (and enthusiasm) very quickly. The FVA scales pretty well to any sort of track so I can get creative with where we go - maybe use tracks with multiple layouts in a "sprint/feature" sort of event.
