Skinning Help

Hi guys,

Having a bit of an issue. I am trying to make a skin for the EEC AMG merc but it keeps coming out really glossy and shiny. I have tried all sorts of different file outputs (All different dds types) There is no alpha channel but there is an Alpha layer. I just cant work it out.
