    Put me down as a "maybe". Kinda undecided if I want to buy this track and car right now and also not sure if I'll manage to get at least some practice in if I do.

    (Oh boy. Just had a first go at the track. It instantly reminded me of all the reasons I always stayed off circuit racing... ;) )

    Actually, it's not the single-seater aspect that I don't like.
    Had this been FRJs, FR4s or possibly even FR3s, then I would've joined.
    But these things have nearly 900bhp/ton, and that's just far too much power for me to control comfortably.
    I usually end up either spinning off, or going around at granny-speed..

    Then again, the only other races on offer are Clios and WEC........ :sick:
    Eh....Maybe. But I wouldn't count on it. :D

    It does, but also has insane downforce and it also brakes well, so after all not as difficult to handle,
    the problem is to think quick enough to get it fast around the best lines.

    @Lars Hansen To be honest, one of the first impressions I had of this thing yesterday was how stable it actually is when on throttle. I was expecting the rear to step out a lot more than it does. It feels like I can pretty much floor it from 2nd up without really worrying about oversteering. I'd say even the DTMs are more demanding in this regard, let alone the Group 5 cars.

    Then again, I probably didn't even leave granny speed, given how terrible I am currently with this track.

    Well, the downforce helps, but that only applies in high-speed corners, and only if you trust it.
    And the number of times a month I run high-downforce cars can be counted on one, severely mangled, hand. :D
    To me, there's just something weird about downforce cars.
    I mean, these things can take Eau Rouge flat-out.....There's something basically wrong about that. :roflmao:
    So it's a combination of the high power, and being so far out of my comfort-zone that it defies description.
    I actually much prefer the Gr. 5s, even if the power-to-weight ratio is right up there as well.
    In the Gr 5s I can feel when I'm losing grip and I can always mostly sometimes OCCASIONALLY catch it again.
    In the FR2s I go from tons of grip to zero grip in the blink of an eye, with predictable results.
    *shrugs*
    Guess it's a matter of practice, but since I don't really like driving these things in the first place, taking time out to practice in them is.....Well, it's something.

    Mainly 1st and 2nd gear where you have to be careful on throttle. Hairpins go quite well on this one since you can accelerate in a rather straight line. T3 and T9/10 are the tricky ones. A bit too hard on the throttle in 2nd gear and you'll go flying.

    @Lars Hansen I definitely get where you're coming from, I'm not used to high downforce cars either and it's a weird feeling going through a corner in one, completely different from "normal" cars.
