that was exceptional driving andrew, i always like too ask you guys that race , is sim racing similar too real racing , i know it will never be exactly the same , but how close
The racing itself is the same no matter what good enough racing game you're playing, be it Gran Turismo, Forza, rFactor or iRacing... It's the same dynamic. Just that IRL you REALLY dont want to crash so you take it a bit easier when making moves. Just a bit :D

Another day at the track! Cold day but luckily dry. It was a pretty tight layout for a car like mine but I managed to cling to the top 5 as the day went on. On the last run of the day I kicked out my passenger (weight reduction yo) and went full alien mode. 1st in class and 1st overall. Not bad for big heavy solid rear axle muscle car :D

My second MGB (a 1970) racer at Bridgehampton. 3 weeks previously I put No.1 (a 1968) on the roof in the infield just past T2 at the Bridge, so if it looks "hurried" ... it was. Photo from 1979. I owned over 60 MGB's and still have a 1970 MGB-GT.

Below is my daily driver for over 5 years now. It's a 1968 M35a2 Deuce and a Half that I shortened by 4 feet and remove one of the rear axles and 6 of the rear tires. It's green, slow, it smokes, leaks oil ... and is absolutely hilarious, just like all the Brit cars I've owned over the years. His name is Henry, which comes from an old New Riders of the Purple Sage tune from a million years ago.

I started collecting parts for various Porkers about 30 years ago, and these days I spend most of my free time rebuilding insurance write offs with a couple old mates.

My current daily driver is this 911S, but I have a few 'other' projects on the go as one can see in the upper photo.
One has been waiting for a genuine shell but it looks as if I can get hold of the correct version now.
Fortunately Porsche do sell genuine parts for 40+ year old models provided the money is available!
