Seat TDI Mod

  1. I see there is Seat TDI Mod on Nogrip. Has anyone tried this mod and how does it work?:worship:
     
  2. yep, the best one is the 2009 one, its good but i dont think they've managed to get the torque right, because its still not that much quicker than the petrol ones.

  4. ever so slightly yes, but still not quick enough.
     
  5. do the AI ride away from there petrol counterparts?
     
  6. No idea, but the mod itself is excellent. Not sure about the lack of time difference though - I took both the petrol and TDI versions out on the Top Gear Test Track, and I was about half a second faster in the TDI... :bulgy-eyes: Also, is first gear really meant to be that short??
     
  7. Road in one @ Brands Hatch at Race Live last year, They do move pretty well.

    Im yet to test this mod but we shall see.

  9. Hi. I actually didn´t like how the engine "feels"
    It´s terrible! It takes a lot of time to get use to change gear at 3800rpms...
    As someone said before me, i also don´t think that the torque is right, i mean this car has twice the torque of the petrol version.

  11. that's about double... you need to use the torque and not the revs...
     
  12. How can it be, that it says max torque is 500 @ 2000, then I look at the details and see the torque is 508 @ 2000, and then it goes even greater, max is 554.7 @ 2500? :)
     
  13. BTW real 2008 Seat Leon TDI produced 450Nm at 2500, 280bhp at 4000.
    2009, torque same, power 262bhp at 3800.
     
  14. TDI model: Max Nm= 500 @ 2000Rpm
    In Rev-list I see at 2750 a gigantic 555Nm or is it still to early in the morning for me?
    Anyone an idea on what the middle values stand for?

  16. here is the mods curves... If someone can find me the curves of the RL car, I'll make a new .eng file with the curve based on the 2500rpm 450Nm 262/280HP. but I need to know the basic shape to follow...
