F1 2012 Season Challenge question: Does difficulty scale?

If I play on Easy, I can play as all teams.

If I play on Medium, I can access the bottom 6 teams.

If I play hard, I can only choose only Caterham, HRT or Marussia.

My question is: Does the AI scale with these Easy/Med/Hard selections, or does your PROFILE difficultly apply?

I am hoping the latter.

I chose easy because I wanted to start learning to play with no assists and I'm pretty sure I only was able to choose the bottom 3 teams.

Thanks. But do you know if by picking Easy, it also sets the AI to Easy (or Amateur I guess) for the Season Challenge?

I thought the AI was dictated by your profile difficulty settings (ie, applicable to all modes), but the AI seems to scale for Season Challenge mode.

But it could also be my imagination.
