Season 6 Race 6 Sepang - Weather

Hi mates.

Here is the first of the forecasts for Sepang, Malaysia:

Malaysia have many days affected by heavy rain all year round, with no exception for this month. There is a 65 % risk of rain falling sometime during one day. Often in form of heavy showers.

The next one will be posted tuesday next week, the 12:th of April, at 18:00 UTC (that's 19 o'clock UK summer time).

Day 1:
11:00 - Practice
14:00 - Qualifying

Day 2:
11:30 - Warmup
14:00 - Race


The second forecast:

Day 1: Showers are forecasted for this day, but with most passing during the evening. But one or two may pass over the track during the rest of the day too. Heavy in intensity and about 30-50 minutes in length.

Day 2: Risk for showers this day too, but less chance than yesterday. Greatest risk is during the morning and evening. Same length and intensity as for day 1.

Much harder track than watkins glen in the rain, should be very interesting if the forecast holds up.

I like the forecast, because it could mean everything from complete dry event to a complete wet event.

Maybe we have a qualy with wet or changing conditions....

Better get out fast in qual if it is dry at the start at least to get a time down in case all h*** brakes lose moments later
