Best thing you can do is get signed up to presto site http://prestogp.com/index.php
and start putting in lap times also trying to have a few races with people online so Nico can get idea.
You don't have to be fastest but some degree of consistency and good racing with others is all we really look for .

Note that we don't use pit speed limit! But the game allways engages limiter when you enter the pits, so you must disengage it manually right afterwards and reach your pit spot as quick as possible. I recommend you to practice that.

Here's an old example of the procedure I made long time ago when we still raced the F1s.

hello ladies and gentlemen,
i would like to introduce myself to this community.
my name is julius fahlbusch, i am from germany - frankfurt.
i mostly drive on public servers in race07 and that for 1-2 years. before that i played the f1 series and other games. the public races in race07 get kind of annoying because its always the same. at first you start with 10-20 people and in the end you are 2 -5 max who finish the race. it gets a wreckfest at least 7 out of 10 races.

a few months back i drove on a public f3000 with steeve fournier and had good fun with him. he was faster than me though but i probably had most fun racing him i had in a long time. i added him on steam and once in a while we either have a chat or attend a f3000 public race together.

yesterday he introduced me to prestogp and your servers. so here we are.
from what i can tell now i like this community very much. the fact that you share your racesetups is just great. i hope that it helps me to build my own setups and to understand better how this setup thing works . i like your rules, i already read the "new league members (presto gp explained)" and the "season11 general info" posts.

your seasoncalendar is beast. spa, suzuka etc. really really nice. havent raced most of them in race 07 yet, but as a huge f1 fan and a former codemasters f1 series driver i atleast know the layouts. i think it helps me a bit.

i downloaded interlagos and drove some laps on your server yesterday and i am able to drive consistent in the 1.23s now. top was 1.22.5 i guess.

racing thursdays in no problem for me! in fact its perfect. i would be able to race alle the last races this season. i already registered to prestogp.com with my real name, i made this account here on racedepartmend and my ingame name now matches my real name. i guess i am good to go now.

if you guys would like to have a member more, count me in!
