Yes and I think it's ok for us. After a practice session you will know where to hold the horses. The track is wide enough and there are overtaking spots.

Just want to throw in Paul Ricard aka Le Castellet in here. Awesome track for fast cars in particular.

Zandvoort is an old F1 track that we could do a fun race on. Just to find out if it suits us. A very technically safe Simbin track. It's a challenging course, something very far from the drag-racing straights and slow chicanes of Monza. Last grand prix was held in -85.

Zandvoort is a great track for tin tops but in F3000 or F1 there is a tendency to take off over the crest at T5, very hard to hang on to, could result in some big off's

t5 is crazy even in tin tops

I miss many of these tracks. As there is more than 1 version of some of them, is there a link to download the whole pack? Or should i get them 1 by one on nogrip?

I can't find the "information thread" I've class threads by alphabetical and i went through all the threads pages and didnt find it. I download most of the tracks on nogrip, i wish they are the good version .... i can't download more today, now i miss silverstone, which version of silverstone will be used??

I've updated the calendar with the URL's to the tracks. When there were multiple versions I used the newest one availeble this time, it was hasty work, so I did not put too much thought in it. Let me know if I have picked the wrong version anywhere.

to try take some heat off nico i propose we stick to nicos original preliminary calender, with silverstone 2010 and the gtr version nurburgring gp, if everyone agrees then nico can forget this part of the new season and we move on with selecting a car and deal with that.

Round 1 - 06th of February - Istanbul
Round 2 - 20th of February - Silverstone 2010
Round 3 - 06th of March - Nurburgring (gtr version)
Round 4 - 20th of March - Melbourne
Round 5 - 03rd of April - Sepang
Round 6 - 17th of April - Shanghai
Round 7 - 01st of May - Bahrain
Round 8 - 15th of May - Barcelona
Round 9 - 29th of May - Monaco
Round 10 - 12th of June - Montreal

all in agreement?

Thank you David However, I think we should have a vote instead of Montral, as that is something we arrived at the right way (people speaking their mind and showing the majorities wish). And suggesting alternatives is something I think people like to do, as soon as they know where and when.

Really don't like Zandvoort (sorry Valter) either of the other 2 is fine, but if pushed put me down for Valencia (never raced there).

I suppose there is no rush for this last track, suggestions look ok how about the old Hockenhiem or vlm Fuji dont think we ever used it in league but are good tracks for racing and f1 to. Valencia was good though and we havent raced there since season 7 that or Fuji would probably get my vote.

I thought you had to support Mugello?

I always like to nominate Magny Cours, although it never wins
-a former f1 track
-we raced it in sesaon 1
-it's an ingame track
-can't remember if I like it or not

EDIT: And Imola, for exactly the same reasons, and imola I remember as a track I like
