F1 2011 Save reset

Dear members

I misread an email on my laptop in game and now I have lost a contract offer with a team. It's the end of the season meaning I'd have to drive another season in the Virgin car which I absolutely do NOT want! Is there a way to revive this? To go back a race or to change the team in my save files?

Windows restore or restore previous version on the folder is only option that I know of.

windows restore will set me back other stuff that I don't want, and restore previous version..?
