THIS WEEK This week the TNGTC arrives at Zolder, where in the past, weather has played a big part in proceedings. The circuit is regrettably famous for the tragic fatal accident of Gilles Villeneuve, but is more fortunately known for its great layout and busy nature. The circuit is located in the village of Terlamen; the track is surrounded by trees and woodland, so it gives off a secluded feel. THE CIRCUIT Circuit Zolder is an old-fashioned circuit, with old tarmac, lots of bumps and usable kerbs – in places. Drivers will also notice that the circuit has a contemporary and modern sight running alongside turn three; a wind farm. The circuit has gravel traps and close barriers, so any mistakes will be punished. · 2.492 miles (4.011km) · 10 Turns · Absolute Lap Record: 1:14.089 – Sebastian Bourdais PRESS CONFERENCE Q: Are you happy with how your Nϋrbϋrgring race went?
