skin transfers are back on server with build 946 so hopefully everyone gets them on the practise servers or next race night, if not then get them all at mediafire like Nicolas says

Share your complete car and driver via the ingame skin transfer.

- Make a MAS package from your car and driver.
- Your MAS package will be a smaller file as the alt_body.dds ==> better for the server.
- Name the MAS file the same as your alt_body.dds

For the FR3.5 2014 (Complete template package: download)
Save all the .dds with the same .dds settings as you main body.dds with the nvidia dds plugin.

XX is car number.

alt_XX.dds ==> main body skin
alt_XXHELMET.dds ==> helmet
alt_XXDRIVER.dds ==> driver
alt_XXEXTRA0.dds ==> left glove
alt_XXEXTRA1.dds ==> right glove

- To test them offline just put the alt_xx extra's helmet etc in the same folder as your alt_XX.dds


To make the complete package transferable via custom skin sharing:

• Open the Mas2.exe Utility via the rFactor 2 launcher

• Drag and Drop all your .dds file(s) into the utility

• Set the Compression to High so that the file upload (and then download by others) is smaller by: Using the Options --> Use File Compression --> Level 9 (Highest) - this will compress a single 5MB .dds to +/- 1MB in size for transfer!
• Go File -->Save As and save this with the same name as your main .dds : like alt_XX.mas

- Use that alt_XX.mas as "alt" skin like you would do with a alt_XX.dds skin

I have done a little testing with my new chassis and runs well and is complete ready for Wednesday
I quite like the look of it but I am biased lol

we use skin transfer on all servers, virtual rides is still turned off
