DiRT Rally RX Difficulty

Is it me or is there something up with the difficulty... I play the RX on Hard mode and I wipe the floor with them, but I play on Very Hard and I keep getting bashed about by them. I mean, they're actually quicker and they punish me if I make a mistake, which I like, but damn, when they seem to hit me they spin me, but if I hit them, it's like nothing happened.

It's like they're driving tanks!

I struggle much much more with rallicross then the rallys. Rallys I win I won every single stage with my Stratos in the 70s. I had to fight a bit more for my 60 class alpine win. Rallicross I think I somehow managed to win the mini cooper classic series despite in the qualifying heats seldom getting better then 3rd or I got second but the super cars I don´t have a chance. I suspect the AI run fully upgraded cars though but the DS3 behaves so bad it´s criminal.

I haven´t found anyway in career to adjust the AI I guess that is just for PVP?
