Perhaps not the most urgent of the myriad of bugs in f1 2012 but after 4 patches I still do not see any “rubbering in” line appearing on any track, lots of marbles but no line. Does anyone of PC see it?

No, Codemasters have pretty much dropped the rubbering in effect. After the first patch for F1 2010.
I mean, the track still evolves, and gets quicker over a weekend, but there's no black racing line that develops. Which sucks, because that would be a nice effect.

I have just been testing this and it is weird. I started a race at Malaysia, parked up off track where I could see the entry and exit of a fast corner and watched. A rubbering in line 100% certainly formed (over the course of the 45 laps that I waited). However, as soon as I re-joined the track, went around the circuit and stopped back at the same place off track......the line had totally gone. More wonderful memory management coding I suspect resulting from such a poor console port.
