RSNetwork

Discussion in 'Richard Burns Rally' started by Aaron DeMarre, Sep 1, 2010.

  1. This was brought to my attention yesterday, this is an add-on for RSRBR that allows someone to host a server and run sessions "live": http://forum.rallyesim.fr/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=5566

This is basically like RBRNet where a group of users can be in a room and chat, and be launched into stages. However there is no ghost car like RBRNet has, the advantage is you can use all the RSRBR cars and tracks in a server where the host has full dynamic control over the stages.

It might turn out to be a nice alternative to the public session feature of RSRBR, especially if you want to test/recce with others over the internets.

I have not played around with it much aside from launching a server and seeing if a stablemate could connect to it, will play with it more in the future.
