Railer and I spent a good bit of time here after he managed to yank me away from Assetto and F1 2017. He's getting pretty fast, as it's basically down to wheel settings, so don't be surprised to see a 1:20 - 1:21 from him. I know that's not going to cut it with some, but on balance, he's still just learning the game. Once he does, we have yet another fast one. This is getting old.

What's the tire you have to run here? I think they are lasting pretty well for me.

I'm away this week until Sunday, so no practice for me except what i squeezed in yesterday. 1:22.3 Quali, so not that great. Shouldn't be hard to beat me come next week.

Love the flow of this old school track. Very technical & twisty. Feels great when you nail those apex's.

Agreed. Although, all of these tracks are way more enjoyable for me now :) I've noticed I love each track we've raced at! (since Baku!)

Yea, that's what's so great about the game evolving so rapidly...the tracks are practically new each year. For instance, next year will bring bumps and dangers not even realized now.

No worries...that's what the four race drop rule if for. The more I think about it, the WDC needs to have this too, since many F1 races have little to do with driving.

I hit a 1:22 in TT, but that's way off my race pace, which is about 1:25/6 and not as consistent as I'd like. This is a hands-on, no relax, rarely full brake, kind of track. I love it! It's the fastest little track on the calendar, but the blind left (t3?) and turn one (also blind in a way) make it challenging every lap. I hate the dumb-ass chicane, but they are like viruses in F1. Also not much room for error here, and the natural boundaries are what matter, not the white line, which of course drove Charlie Whiting nuts. Hopefully they don't get a visit from the boundary Nazis again.

I've worked down from 1:30+ to a 1:25.6 earlier this week. I think I'll stay with this set up now and learn how the car feels with it....intimately :/ :D

I love this track as well. Fully agree. Hands on. You fall out of the rhythm on 1 or 2 turns and it punishes you like it was a straight you have a bad exit onto. Great Track. Looking forward to this one....well....I look forward to them all :D !!
