Borussia Delmenhorst saved their day from being 1-2 down to draw it all with a 2-2 result in the end of the last 10 minutes.

Melbourne Victory lose to Olympiacos, but still retains 3rd place!

As Melbourne Victory are one of the title contenders for this season, they unfortunately lost 3-1 against Olympiacos, which moved the Greek team up to 4th in the standings. But, as a result of the goal difference, Melbourne Victory still retained third place.

Tampa Bay Rowdies move up the standings

Tampa Bay Rowdies won a comfortable 2-1 against Luton Town. At half-time, both clubs were currently on 1-1, but the Rowdies scored the winning goal in overtime.

The winner moved up to 6th in the standings.

Fotballagert Fart crushed Adelaide United with a 3-0 win, which was the team's 10th game as an unbeaten team this season.

Fotballagert Fart unfortunately cannot be champions, but they can challenge for the Top 3.

Two Finns draw this time...

FC Kuusysi and HJK Helsinki ended their season with a 2-2 draw. And now, due to the goal difference between Helsinki and Besiktas, Besiktas JK are crowned the Season 18 champion. Helsinki are back at second place due to the goal difference between them and Fotballagert Fart, who are now in third.

After the match, neither fans nor the players have celebrated, so the fans just stood up and cheered "yay", meanwhile the players paid respects to Omer Said.

Atlético Madrid surprisingly win against Besiktas

Atlético Madrid picked up a 1-0 victory against the new champions Besiktas. At the start of the second half, Atlético scored, which the player did not celebrate to give respect to Besiktas.
After the match, Besiktas really had to celebrate as they were champions. They also celebrated on the "trophy lifting ceremony".

The 18th season of the Rock-Paper-Scissors tournament ends

Congrats to the Season 18 champions, Besiktas JK and @Omer Said!
A totally decisive match between FC Kuusysi and HJK Helsinki meant that both clubs drew 2-2, and as a result, Besiktas JK were crowned champions due to the goal difference.
However, the champions would lose 1-0 to Atlético Madrid, but they still got more to celebrate for. Let's go to the team-by-team reviews.

Team-by-Team Review

#15 - FC Kuusysi
After Tapio Rinneaho, the man who was close to a title last season with SexyPöxyt, entered this season with the name FC Kuusysi, but his season proved to be very unsuccessful, as he did not win any match throughout.

#14 - Manchester United
Sasha Jednak continued for another season with Manchester United. Having finished fifth last season, this season was an unsuccessful one, having a streak of draws and losses until Manchester United won at the final round against Grêmio FBPA.

#13 - Luton Town
Luton Town couldn't win a game until the 7th round. But they only won three times, so that meant they were one of the bottom three.

#12 - Middlesbrough
Middlesbrough were noted for being trashed 5-0 against Melbourne Victory at the fourth round of the season, which left the manager, Jack Laskey, very embarassed. Their results were mixed between a win, a draw and a loss, and they ended up in 12th in the final standings.

#11 - Grêmio FBPA
Grêmio had a pretty much mixed up start to the season, winning and then losing. Mid-way through the season, the team had a loss streak of 5, including notable matches that they lost 3-0 in. They won five matches, but lost eight of them.

#10 - Borussia Delmenhorst
Delmenhorst's manager, Andrew, continued for another season. Having finished fourth last season, the team looked promising, but the team's form suddenly disappointed the manager, putting them down in the standings, down to 10th.

#9 - Atlético Madrid
After Tim Engberink left Leicester City to manage for Atlético Madrid, the season for the Madrid team were average throughout, winning 5, drawing 3, losing 6.

#8 - Oxford United
After a poor start to the season, Oxford United started to win games, notably having a winning streak of 4. But, they couldn't win furthermore, and ended 8th in the standings.

#7 - Adelaide United
Defending champions Adelaide United were looking forward to seek for another title this season. They were very good for the first six rounds, but in the seventh round they faced the worst loss ever, a 3-0 loss to Oxford. They couldn't keep up in the next few rounds, drawing four times and winning only once, and then losing in the final three rounds.

#6 - Tampa Bay Rowdies
Tampa Bay were looking good in the first four rounds, but they were stricken by four losses and a single draw mid-season. They started to pick wins in the end, but they ended finishing 6th.

#5 - Olympiacos
Olympiacos were one of the bottom three teams last season. The first half of the season weren't much good for them, but they started to improve alot in the second half, winning 5 games and drawing 2.

#4 - Melbourne Victory
Melbourne Victory announced that they would compete in the tournament, with their manager becoming Aaron Reed. Their first season was a competitive one, as they only lost two games, drew six and won six too. At the last round of the season, they unfortunately lost out on a title shootout, and ended fourth in the standings.

#3 - Fotballagert Fart
Having a poor start to the season, with 3 draws and 2 losses, the team's new manager, Milos Ancevski, suddenly made major improvements to the team. They won a total of seven games and had two draws from Round 6 until the end, making it an undefeated run of nine games.'

#2 - HJK Helsinki
HJK Helsinki had a miserable season in the previous season, but this season, they were considered as one of the title contenders. Unfurtunately they lost out to the Turkish club Besiktas JK.

#1 - Besiktas JK
Besiktas JK were one of the bottom 10 teams last season. They had a nice start to the season, but before the sixth round (during the summer break), Omer Said left the team due to "personal circumstances". This left Besiktas JK without a permanent manager, with an unknown person who claims he is a "randomizer" took over as an interim manager for the remainder of the season. Although the team were considered as "probably unlikely champions", the team eventually were the Season 18 champions.

That's it for the 18th season of the Rock-Paper-Scissors tournament, but I have an important news for you all: I will not moderate the next RPS season, and I have decided to leave the moderator position vacant.
