Imo you should give a maximum of 3 days to send in the votes after the round has started. No vote received results in a win for the opponent, simple as that. It takes a few seconds to send in the pm, so 3 days should be more than enough.

I will look into this. I just want to make sure that I get the choices in at least for the first round.

The reason why I want to consider this is because one person could be matched against competitors who in even a rare situation might not send their choices, which would give a free pass to the Knockout Stages. I will look into this but for sure, it is a very quick post to send.
