Hello all,

Does anybody know how to add that small title image of track?
That image appears in the list of all tracks.

When you have a picture of your track (a *.jpg-file) you can put this one into your rFactor\gamedata\locations\"your track" folder\trackname.

In my case: i have a track named "Hondsrugring".
the Jpg file will go then into: rFactor\gamedata\locations\Hondsrugring\Hondsrugring

When I do that in GTR2, then it doestn work. Its always the standard-load-screen. So what do I have to do in GTR2 for my own track-loading-image?

you have to take the first4 character of track name and add _lod so you get this,

trackname.jpg to trac_lod.jpg
trackmap will be a bmp file. tracknameTrack.bmp

lookin gtr2 folder @donnighton for screen dimensions
4don_lod.jpg : dimensions 800 x600 24 bits
4don_lod2.jpg : dimensions 800x400 24 bits
4donningtontrack.bmp : dimensions 142x85 24 bits

first one being the trck load picture,second being the moveable loading bar,3rd being the track map
