Something that will test a driver to the limits, yet offer the thrills and sheer speed that no other track can provide! The Racedepartment rFactor Racing Club is proud to present the Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft 60 Minutes du Mans!
The wildy over powered Turbo cars of the DRM are set to hurtle around the 1979 Le Mans track at well over 200mph for 60 minutes..... are you....
The BMW M1's turbocharged engine howls toward 8,500 Rpm, the heat and vibrations are oppressive, shift up to fith, quickly checking the gauges again as the car fly's along the Mulsanne Straight at over 200Mph. Back on the brakes, shifting downwards as you approach Indianapolis, fighting the car as it gets out of shape, behind a pair of Porsche 935's are closing in lap by lap. Through the Porsche Curves, Maison Blanche and toward the Ford chicane the start finish line beckons and another lap is completed.
Can you master a DRM car, balance pace against consistency and measure the condition of your engine? Just to finish will be a challenge! With spots being filled rapidly, you will need to be quick if you want to join in!
