rFactor crashes on Windows 7

CAN ANYONE HELP, I'VE JUST PUTTEN WINDOWS 7 HOME PREIMIUM ON TO MY COMPUTER AND SINCE THEN I'VE BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS WITH RFACTOR

THINGS VARY FROM

ERRORS (STEX, CMAPS) THAT DON'T LOAD THE MOD

CARS NOT SHOWING UP ON SPINNER

AND GAME CRASHING TO DESKTOP WHEN I CLICK ON START RACE (AFTER I HAVE LOADED THE TRACK)

THE ONLY MOD THAT HAS WORKED PERFECTLY IS FSONE 2008

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP AS I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK TO VISTA!!!!!

I've not heard of or seen any difficulties with 7 and rFactor. Are all mods installed correctly - wrong file locations will cause crashes. Run the game as administrator. Failing that try reinstalling rFactor over again.

And please don't write in caps

I have Windows 7 64bit, and all works as normal, sounds like a start from scratch reinstall time, I find myself doing that with rFactor now and again, shame the licencing can be such a pain.

W7x64 here and no problems... issues are from the way the mods are packaged and therefore get mis-installed, or people "manually" install and don't follow the readme...
