Tim Wheatley has announced the minimum/recommended system specs for rFactor 2 on the official ISI forums here. With his recent blog entry hinting at a 2011 release and an open beta could we be close to finally getting our hands on this much anticipated sequel?

Yes, good thing. Would've been nice (for the years to come) that it would have been a bit higher even :)

Those are pretty steep video card requirements... almost no one with a laptop will be able to play. I can now, but I'm worried that rFactor may be limiting their market, and a lot of people will never get to play rF2 like it was intended to be...

If you buy a laptop for gaming then I think you should be prepared for disappointment.

I love the disclaimer..... rFactor 2 is expected to be released at the end of this year. This just screams of a 2012 Q1 release at the earliest to me, lol. Hope I'm wrong
