If you are not tech savy I would suggest the .exe file.

Anythign else is a pain in the arse.

Alright I am downloading the HTTP .exe file now. How do I get all the cars on? Do I just download everything and it will be there?

Download the setup exe, and then all of the content files (1960s WCR, Megane, Formula Renault, and FR 1.1 update). Once you have them all, follow this guide to install the game and get started.

Note that this is a beta, not a demo. You have to buy it to play it.
