Removing watermarked results from Google Image search

Discussion in 'Bob's Track Builder' started by R Soul, Feb 18, 2013.

  1. I'm surprised this never occurred to me before, but better late than never....

Let's say you use Google Images to search for seamless tarmac texture

In my case, lots of results are hogged by depositphotos.com, whose images have watermarks to prevent free use. To remove those results, simply add -depositphotos into the search box.

You can add many more "-" terms to filter out other websites, such as istockphoto and turbosquid.

    Here is an example:
seamless tarmac texture -depositphotos -123rf -shutterstock -dreamstime -crestock -stockfresh -turbosquid -texturelib
