You have to use the assets bündle Extractor from here https://7daystodie.com/forums/showthread.php?22675-Unity-Assets-Bundle-Extractor
Then you open the ressource.assets file.
Then search for Simulation Settings.
Push the button plugins and export txt.
Open txt and Change whatever you want.
Push plugins again and make Import txt file.
Close Program and save

to u guys want a shorter and a longer mod version too ?

Just like a normal unpacking
Right click on the file called "part1" and choose your unpacking program to do the job. The program will then know that part2 is included and the unpacked folder will have the files from both parts

Used WinRar and this didn't help. It simply over wrote it. Is there a better program? Two zip files. I unpack into the same place. The second just overwrites. What am I missing?

You must check that both files have the exact same name. Only difference must be 1 and 2 after "part". The rest must be equal.
Then you should just have to extract part1 - it will then auto-extract part2 as well.
