    Introduction

Welcome back to the backbone of RaceDepartment.com. Touring car racing is what brought us all together a few years ago in beginning of 2007 for the ancestor of what now is known as RaceDepartment.com. The racedepartment.com WTCC Tournament 2007 was the first massive league we organised and is still considered as the most successful league ever by many that participated, due to the original format and the participation of over 100 drivers!

This season is going to be a bit different. With the experience of the former RDTCC seasons this will be the new format: 2 divisions, totalling 50 dedicated drivers. These drivers will compete for individual standings as well as team standings. Teams will consist of 2 drivers. There can be multiple teams with suffix of team 1, 2 etc. As there will be more sign-ups than spots available, we will evaluate sign-ups individually, based on the current dedication and status of the driver.

    Prequalification:

"After finding yourself in the Sign up list"

To decide in which division you will start RD will run a prequalification day.

The server will be up and running with a specific track, and the car that has been assigned to you by the Race Director. (For more info about the car read the whole format.)
The top 25 qualifiers will start in division 1, and those placed 26-50 in division 2.

    Qualification day date:18th and 19-Sept-2010. From 10:00gmt 18th sept. till 18:00gmt 19th sept.
    Qualification track:
    Okoyama 2008.

    Sign up example:

A licensed member of RD fills in a request to get a license for RDTCC S5.
    License request form:

    Example 1:

    Teamname: The RD Racingteam
    Driver: Yuri Braham
    Prefered car list:
(note: The RDTCC S5 staff can decide to give you a car not listed in the prefered car list. This will only happen when all cars are used.)
    1. BMW E90
    2. BMW E46
    3. Alfa Romeo 2007

    Reminder:
These drivers will compete for individual standings as well as team standings. Teams will consist of 2 drivers. There can be multiple teams with suffix of team 1, 2 etc. As there will be more sign-ups than spots available, we will evaluate sign-ups individually, based on the current dedication and status of the driver. Approved signups will be noticed by PM, and by looking at the sign up list. This list is located in the sign up thread.

    Car List

    1. Alfa Romeo 156 2007
    2. BMW 320i e46 2007
    3. BMW 320si e90 2008
    4. Chevrolet Lacetti 2008
    5. Peugeot 406 2006
    6. SEAT Toledo 2006
    7. SEAT Leon TFSI 2008
    8. Honda Accord Euro R 2008
    9. Volvo S60 STCC
    10. Audi A4 STCC

W e will have 50 drivers. The cars are not bounded by team. Every driver of a team can drive a different car.
As we have 10 cars, 50 drivers.
A maximum of 5 cars of each individual brand are avaible..
So for example we can only have 5 Honda's in the field.

    Absence

This is the most important part of the league briefing you need to understand! If you are invited to drive the league we expect you to be present during all the races of the season. If you happen to miss out on an event and go missing in action afterwards without giving any notice the race staff reserve the rights to terminate your licensed member status on RaceDeparment.

We assume that you can participate all the races!

RDTCC S5 - Rules and Regulations

Racedepartment League Rules 2010: Click here!

    Overview RDTCC S5 Rules

    - Drive and behave like a gentleman
    - No personal attacks or discussions in any RDTCC S5 related thread.
    - If you hit a driver who spins off the track. Don't wait but proceed with the race. Waiting doesn't change anything. The penalty will be applied after the race.
    - Its not allowed to cut. Stay at all time with 2 wheels inside the white lines.
    - Only sign up if you are sure you can race all the events.
    - Absence reports have to be posted in the Absence thread. This thread will be opend on the monday after the event, and closed the wednesday after the event. (But we don't expect absense from a driver.)
    - Absence drivers without notice will be removed from the league, and receive an infraction point.
    - When a driver is removed from the league, a spot will be open and avaible to a reserve driver.
    - Read and respect the RD League rules.

    Incidents

It may happen that rules get violated. In such cases it is up to the drivers to report the violation. The staff encourages this and will only investigate incidents that are reported by drivers.

No report = no investigation = no penalty

A report can be sent to the staff by clicking this link. It must always contain:
o Name of the league: RDTCC S5
o The name of the reported driver (the violator)
o A link to a youtube movie that shows the incident in various angles
o A short description of the incident, without rant.

You must always send the report with your own forum account. You can only send a report if you were actually in the race. Report from outsider will be not be considered.
After sending the staff will then investigate the incident. Incomplete reports will not be considered.

Reports must be sent within 24 hours of the finish of the race. Reports that come in too late might not be considered.

    Point System:

Points are awarded to the top ten drivers in each race as follows :
    o 1st = 30

    o 3rd = 28
    o 4th = 27
    o 5th = 26
    o 6th = 25
    o 7th = 24

What I would really like to have this season is two sprint races like the real WTCC instead of one long race, but I'm guessing I'm in the minority.

I think x2 30 minute races per round would be good, it gives all the drivers a second chance if anything were to go wrong in the first race
