Round 3 - Sno*Drift Rally
Penalty: DQ from the Rally
Reason: Missed Entry
Note: All drivers are reminded that they have to sign up within the deadline, or they will not score points. This DQ will not count against the two-strike rule!
Penalty: DQ from the rally
Reason: Illegal restart
Note: Restarting a stage is strictly prohibited! There is no reason that can justify a restart, However, we do know that in the heat of the moment, you can accidently press restart instead of retire. This was a hard one for the RDRC-crew. It happened on one single stage, and we have been giving Matt the benefit of doubt here. And he will still be able to score points for the summer series.
Matt Leonowicz are put on probation for the rest of 2013 for the Winter Series. He will be able to score points for the Winter Series and Summer series. But another offence can cause more severe actions. Matt is urged to be sure to follow every rule in the future.

Penalty: DQ from the Rally & the whole season
Reason: Illegal restart(s)
Note: Restarting a stage is strictly prohibited! There is no reason that can justify a restart, However, we do know that in the heat of the moment, you can accidently press restart instead of retire. However. Sandro was found to be doing this several stages in this rally. Further investigation revealed that this had been done in the first two rallies as well.
Sandro is DQ'd from the 2013 season. That includes Winter & Summer series. He will not be able to drive any more rallies in the RDRC this year. This isn't a one time offence, but multiple offences. All drivers accepted and said they had read the rules when they signed up. So all drivers should know what's allowed and what's not allowed.
Appeal received 12/4-2013 16:02 GMT+2
Case closed 17/4 22:27 GMT+2 - Decision stands. Non appealable.
Stage Problems: SS13
The problems on stage 13 has been discussed. And the stage stands as it is. A small number of drivers were affected by it. But we cannot force the issue to happen again, and there was no session where all drivers had the problem.
While we understand that this might be frustrating, the rules clearly state that all drivers are required to check that the stages will work on their systems (Rule 4.1). This must be done before the start of the rally.
If you feel a decision is wrong, you have 48 hours from the time of this post to appeal.
Any appeals should be sent in a PM to
Ole Marius Myrvold
However do not make an appeal just for the sake of it. Although it is extremely rare, an appeal might lead to a more severe penalty. Make sure you feel you have a reason to appeal.
