I knew I would stand no chance of winning but I thought I'd be closer to the faster guys but after 4 stages I were 47 sec behind Smug so I started to look at the battle at hand, at the time 7 seconds covering three of us, Irishman N0c, Steve and myself.

It turned out well for me, at least compared to N0c, I believe he became a bit tired later on in the rally as I, from SS13 and onwards steadily increased the gap and in the end I had a comfortable gap to him but because Steve took a break after about halfway I still stood on the gas trying to go quick, wasn't quick enough I don't think but I gave it a red hot go, as the pictures show...

But yea, either I'm useless in the Fiat or Smug is a Alien, which I think it more likely... or maybe a bit of both :whistling:

Just finished up with the Weyerbacher Brewing Team Fate Rally Kadett. Had to redo the first 4 stages yesterday due to the RaceNet debacle, then saved and Ironmaned the rest this morning, Didn't want to take any chances on saving:poop:. Navitori (Jonatan), that was a fantastic battle. I cost myself maybe 15 seconds on Oberstein there's a right 3 after a left 6 a little ways out of the forest. I just plain overcooked it and drove down through the grass on the outside missed all the stonehenge barriers and spun around then rentered the track without killing anyone or damaging my car.:whistling:. From there I tried to pull back time on you but just couldn't quite get there ended up 5 seconds and change behind you at the end well driven! Cheers.

Finshed as well. End of day two was fine except for the night stage where i overshot a hairpin and smashed into a marshall and a photographer, entschuldigung! Final day saw two brilliant runs (and finally spotted a deer crossing the track, so realistically rare in Dirt Rally) and two middling ones, my direct competitor Franky (who incidentally is not in a Lancia but a Subaru, my mistakes earlier on) had dropped a whooping 40 secs wallop earlier, so I kind of lost focus a little. Finished with car still in one piece in third to last, now for the wait till Sunday night. Very fun event again, thx organizers, you set the bar quite high but you keep crossing it with aplomb.

Finished the rally yesterday. Practiced 2 stages before I started to look the steam workshop setup if it's sh*t or not. It wasn't so I started the rally.
I had some pretty good stages but I made some little mistakes (spun, overshhoting the corner) in 3-4 stages and a little bit of body damage 3 stages before the finish, but luckily the damage doesn't effected the car's behaving.
I'm glad I made it into the finish, I was pushed hard with the BMW.

Here is my vid from all of it, I run all of it in one sitting:

(as there are no way to prolong an already started event), we in the RDRC-Crew have decided not to make a new session at the end of this one.
No quibbles from me, particularly since I'm one of the lucky ones that hadn't (couldn't) race before the problem. Running a second partial event or a complete re-run would be a nightmare. However, if/when it happens again it might be worth asking the Codies admins if they can simply extend the event. (Users can't but perhaps admins can?)

All done in one stint - no massiv crashes, the odd bump or overshoot at a hairpin, one slight little 180 narrowly avoiding a huge Hinkelstein - could not keep up with the Top3 in the -4WD class, my speed is just not fast enough - sitting just one below podium, but I will make my way done the list pretty fast I think.

Had no Racenet issues at all, no Headseat failure - it was a pleasure as always - I love my saturday moring Rally Sessions - will miss them! Onto Wales, and a week of testing different setups.

Thanks Racedepartment for another well planned Rally! Prost! :D

Damn I wish I had the capacity on my SSD to record the whole event. I can't seem to even run a recording software like PlaysTV for some small replays, I keep getting an error that some file is missing. Might be something to do with the Win7Lite OS I'm using.

I streaming to Youtube than you can post it as a video later.
I don't have that much disk space too to record this into my PC.

Alien?!? Nah i've just played this game a lot. You slowly realise that there are just 3 to 4 rallies in each country split in 2 and reversed. Looking forward to Dirt 4 having a larger selection to keep me on my toes

so, true, after nearly 2 years of playing DiRT only a couple of recce runs are required to remember a stage and the cuts. DiRT4 will be a welcome challenge
