  • Click here to read the password!
  • You will require the RSRBR 2010 (updates 03, 04, and 05, & Patch 01) mod in order to participate, please see the installation and usage threads.
  • You will also require the following Car Packs:
    A league: A8W03, A8W04, A8W05
    Premier league: N4_1, N4_2
  • Teamspeak is highly recommended, and adds to the fun.
IMPORTANT:
  • Please sign up in the following format: Real name - Car - League - Team - user name
  • Take a screenie of RSCenter, or save your times, showing your final results at the end of the rally (including the car you drove!). This is in case any of your stages are missed by the server. If there's a discrepancy, please post your times ASAP so we're not adjusting times over 24 hours later.
  • You must stick with the same car throughout the rally - if you change, your times for those stages will be defaulted.
  • If you are new to Richard Burns Rally, we have provided a set of guidelines to help you get up and running: Here and Here

After testing on The two new stages RSI and Pilbram I will advise anyone that has not tried them that they DO. Remember that RSI will be driven at night the first to times so knowing your way around will help. Pilbram has a section of gravel that will test you if you are using the Tarmac setup and tyres. Get used to them BEFORE the rally starts.

Just tried to make all the special in offline, but when I start the stage 8 I have a problem.
The stage doesn't load and I have a runtime error.

It is really strange because I can run the same stage in the same conditions at the beginning but don't work after the french stage.

Yes, very strange. I will look into it Ludovic. has anyone else seen any problems?

I try to launch the 2 new SS, to see if everything works fine. I only lauch the stage one by one in offline with only the good weather for the moment. I only have some problem with the Pilbram stage. I launched it 4 times (with the xsara 2005), and the game bug the 3 first time.

I didn't have problem with the Ireland stage.

I've run Pribram a few times in off-line mode, both good weather and also in the fog, and it has run ok without any bugs for me.
I've also tried a couple of runs at RSI 3 without bugs so far.
However, I haven't tried running a series of Stages after each other.

absolutely the same here. just wanted to check if we are really running that backyard stage with hardly enough room to turn in your ride called RSI3 3times or whether that is a typo. Worst "stage" I have ever played. Pribam, on the other hand, is suuuuper.
Guess I will pick the latest Subaru, couple more testruns tonight to decide.

Think of it like this Eckhart, The rally I have based this on runs a Super special on Friday night, Saturdays stages before returning to the super special in Saturday night. Sunday finishes back at the super for the Promotional events and media coverage. Thats the format I'm using, so yes 3x Times, lol.

I always think it interesting to see what other poeple think of stages. Someone else can see it VERY differentely. For example, I think the RSI stages are tight, challenging and technical. With Pilbram........................i hate it i hate it i HATE IT!!!!!!!! Such a stupid little stage, bumpy but fast, doing laps around a village. It's just terrible.

But thats my opinion, lol. Thanks for your feed back Eckhart.

OK, guys. After some troubling posts from some members i am running a "Recce" event tonight at 20:00 server time. All the stages are there, in order with the right weather. The cars will be N2_1 pack (this is not a test sesson it is recce - you would not be using your rally cars in that anyway)

This will be for anyone that wants to make sure the stages run cleanly with no troubles. If you find something going wrong let me know in PM.

edit: BTW, if you want to find out for yourself and you can't make this recce you can make up your own "rally" online by going to the RSRBR public sessions section. Warren has posted a very good thread about creating your own rally in the main RBR forum.

No prob's for me with all stages in offline mode, i only choose one stage at a time.. i didn't know you could run multiple stages in RS center?
I found i encountered system bug's when i installed updates in the wrong order or skipped an update, once that happened the whole RBR2010 installation became corrupt & unreliable eg login issues and graphic bugs (skin's & textures)
I recommend full uninstall, registry clean, user config folder delete, defrag etc. Re-install orginal RBR(i don't bother launching new install, go straight to installing updates) and take a bit of care loading some of the updates i noticed in VISTA 32 you need to use "XP Compatibility" mode to allow some updates to load.
For the last 2 mnth's iv'e been testing that HDR plugin (see forum thread) and i'm quite surprised it's not to bad if your driving using cockpit view, the greatest benefit is being able to switch it on & off on the fly. Great for some of the darker contrast stages, some stage replay's are best with out it imo.
lol.. like Rick i hated Pribram with it's lack of places to get settled and that crappy section of gravel which your tarmac tyres just love!, it's bumpy, unsettling and quick from the get go. However, after a bit of track time this stage is now a favourite of mine, for some reason i kept comming bk for more.

Aaaa, forgot about this... And I was playing RBR at the time... Bua, sorry. :rose-dead:

EDIT: FWIW, everything works fine for me offline.

The whole thing run without a hitch for me. If anyone is having problems running stages or getting errors i can only think it is an issue with their RSRBR. you should get in touch with the guys from Rallesim and RSRBR and ask them or just re-upload your copy. I can't think of any other reason.

It is really strange because I can run the same stage in the same conditions at the beginning but don't work after the french stage.

I have made a couple of test today, and it seems that I have a problem between a french stage like Bisanne and this RSI3. I have tested several condition, and my game crash always in these conditions.

I also try to launch Bisanne in bad condition and after RSI3 in night and it works.
But, when I launch all the stage it crash always for the 8th stage.
If somebody can try, you haven't to drive all, just launch the game until the beginning of the stage.

I just tried the following:
1. All Stages were done off-line
2. Started with SS01, completed the Stage.
3. Started all Stages SS02 to SS07, but quit each one after about a minute.
4. Drove complete SS08.

I had no problems with error messages, all Stages loaded ok.

Probably not what you wanted to hear. I haven't tried setting up an on-line test Rally though, but I believe Rick's test Rally went ok without errors.
