The countdown has begun for those who weren't already feverishly counting down. On Saturday the 13th of July, 2013 on 12:00 GMT the RDLMS season finale - the virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans - will start. The race around the clock will be driven by no less than 46 teams in ten different types of cars spread over four competition classes.
In the Prototype 1 (P1) class the heat is on SimRace Vereniging Nederland who defend a six points lead over both Fenix and rSeat.fr, with rSeat looking for their first season victory after falling just short of that in the last two races. In the P2 class things are looking good for Hell Racing Team Hungary who defend a fourteen points lead over both LDDT and their fellow Hungarians SIMCO. The tightest bid for the championship is no doubt the one in the GT1 class where NoLimit Motorsports and rSeat.co.uk divided all first and second places between them, leaving them only a four points gap coming to LeMans. Finally, in the GT2 class things are looking good for Simracing For Holland who defend a six points lead over Brigata Orso, having outpaced them all season.
