Nice - you've kind of surprised me with your car choice there though.

Nothing wrong with the Alpine at all, just never had you pegged as a fan.

Tell you what could look nice, Carlos - the Renault "Diamond" on the side next to the "22" might look cool if you removed the outer and central yellow background, and just kept the bits between the black lines.

The Diamond would then blend into the skin, and just become visible via the negative space Yellow & White bits. I've seen it on Yellow skins for the Alpine where it looks nice, bit it occurs to me that having a black car might make even more abstract by effectively hiding the "main" colour of the logo.

Just a thought, mind you - you know I like simple, well judged, tasteful schemes like the one above.

haha, yeah I know I'm more a Porsche/Bimmer guy. But the Alpine handles so nice and I know there will be a lot of people grabbing the porkers so I'm trying to stay away from it. Even though it's not official yet, I'm leaning more towards the Alpine right now. The Escort, Alfa, and Porsche are still candidates though, even though the Escort is easily 2nd, while the Porsche is 3rd and the Alfa 4th on my list.

I'm not sure I understood you 100% about the logo. Is this sort of what you mean?VVV

Carlos Diaz - here's what I was talking about - and feel free to tell me to poke it

I just thought that, if you removed bits like the outline, and blended the main colour in with the body, it becomes abstract enough for you to be able either use it as is, or you can blow it up and make it part of the design if you wanted.
