    Track Description
Home of one of most traditional races in CART history, the site located in the sorrounding of Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, Road America is a 4.048 mi (6.315 km) road track with a good mixture of medium to high speed, pacy curves with slow, heavy braking sessions. Drivers will obtain success with a setup that benefits high speed cornering downforce with good acceleration and a reasonable top speed. Also the track elevation can easily throw the best of the drivers off due to the car shifting and blind apexes. The section combined with the main straight, turn 1, Stratton & Briggs Tunnel and turn 2 and the second long straight is the main overtaking spots on the track, specially on the end of the second long straight. This track favours aggressiveness, but with ultra high risks.

Plain simple, once the last turn is made, those with intent go directly into the pit lane line (to the right side to be more specific) and proceed into the pit lane.

    Pit Exit
(Image will be added later on)
Exit the pits and stay in the right side of the track and rejoin the track optimally before the apex at Turn 1 before the Stratton & Briggs bridge.

Lorenzo (or anyone kind enough and willing) can you check to see if my skin is in the pack?

I won't be able to check until right before the race otherwise.
    Thanks!

Any updates to the skin pack? Will it be ready for Saturday's race? It's so much better with the skin pack for sure! Love the car too by the way - feels so different than it did before, engine maps means that this could be a really exciting race!

Are we using the updated car or the one we started the series with?

What do the engine maps do and what settings go either direction?
    Thanks

If I recall correctly the server is set for the latest iteration of the car?

@Daiman Patel can answer better than me.

Actually @Dennis would be the best person to answer this question, as he created the custom car / skin pack. ;) From what I can see, however, the underlying component is the latest version to have been released by Studio 397 since the DX11 upgrade.

If I'm not mistaken it should be ok to run in DX11.

IMO it will take some time until the modded tracks get the proper dx11 shaders, let alone receive them.

Running the DX11 build is perfectly fine, the only issue being your on-screen plugins won't work (GID HUD, V-HUD) if you use any. The normal HUD still works of course.

Overall, average seem to be down a little over DX9, but sudden frame drops and freezes have been reduced or eliminated completely which is great to see. It's up to you which build you are more comfortable using. We should be getting the first DX11 stable build sometime in June before Le Mans, hopefully things will be nice and ironed out by then.
