Welcome to season one of the Race Department IndyCar Forum manager game.​

Season One is a step into the unknown. With a vast range of upgrades, upgrading wisely will be extremely important. Do you upgrade your pit crew, your driver or your car. Do you want to be a road course expert, a speedway expert or a superspeedway expert (where double, even triple points are on offer)

RD IndyCar Regulations and Information Season 1

1- Calendar
We have an 18 race calendar for season one, which includes 9 road courses, 5 speedways and 4 superspeedways. Along with that, we have two mid season tests and a preseason test

4- Hungaroring (RC)
5- California (SS) (Double Points)
6- Atlanta (S)

10- Barber (RC)
11- Watkins Glen (RC)
12- Talladega (SS) (Double Points)
13- Pocono (SS) (Double Points)
14- Bavaria (RC)
15- Sandown (RC)
16- Las Vegas (S)
17- Homestead Miami (S)
18- Indianapolis (Double Points)

2- Point System
The game will follow the current IndyCar point system (apart from the double point events and the Indy 500)

3- Manufactures
4 manufactures have joined for season one and all have provided your engine and aerokits

F- Gain over 5 positions from your starting position (£200)

5- Upgrades

The marketplace will be opened for upgrades soon. Manufactures will bring two in season upgrades depending on what needs improving

6- Prize Money
The championship prize money is yet to be announced but here is the race by race prize money (which is doubled at all SSuperspeedways

9th- £1000
10th- £900
11th- £800
12th- £700

7- Teams

There will be no team 'manager'. Car Upgrades will be decided by all the drivers. One car, Two car and Three Car teams are allowed. To form a team you need to message some other members and form a team together and get someone to paint you a the livery

8- Signups

After reading this awfully long passage, you must be wondering how you sign up

Well this is the section for you

As a driver, here is the signup form you need to follow

Driver Name: (Can be real or fantasy)

When you form a team, you need to post below the following

Team Name:
Engine and Aero Manufacture:
Drivers;

Everyone will receive £1200 and every team will receive £3000 (but you have to buy aerokits and engines)

There will be some pretty little spreadsheets on this post soon, I nerd to send them to @Milos so he cab add some lovely formulas
