They didn't have a number one driver because THERE WASN'T A NUMBER ONE DRIVER. Even Ferrari give both their drivers equal chances at the start, then they start favouring the driver that is better. At Mclaren the two drivers were pretty much equal in performance. should they just pick one of the drivers from a hat and start favouring them.

And how is it a joke to let a rookie race a world champion. You don't just make someone the second driver because their team-mate is older and therfore has had more success That is possibly the most ridiculous statement I have ever heard

thats the problem...if Mclaren had given Fernando N1 satus they woulda won the WDC that year

If what you say is right then why would Alonso be praising Hamilton so much. Because he has experienced it first hand as his team mate!! He knows how good Hamilton is! Listen to how he says that Hamilton has won races in a not-so-go car, coming from further back on the grid. Racers drivers know talent when they see it, which is why Hamilton says the ame for Alonso. They are both in a league of their own! If he felt he was mis-treated at Mclaren do you think he would sit here and be saying this now....? No, I do not.
