All sessions will be combined together for an overall result for the event. You can only run on one session.

** PLEASE NOTE: You must drive the same car in all Stages

To help ensure a more mixed grid, please select a car from the available list in the Sign-Up post (below). Initially only four of each car will be available, so first in best dressed. All cars are closely matched in performance. If more drivers sign up after all cars are allocated, then we will add an additional one of each car.

NOTES:
  • Click here to read the password!
  • You will require the RSRBR 2011 mod, ( Update 07 ), in order to participate, please see the installation and Usage thread.
  • You will also require the N4_S2000_1 Car pack.
  • Teamspeak is highly recommended, and adds to the fun.

IMPORTANT:
  • Please sign up in the following format: RD Name (RSRBR2011 Name)
  • Take a screenie of RSCenter, or save your times, showing your final results at the end of the rally (including the car you drove!). This is in case any of your stages are missed by the server. If there's a discrepancy, please post your times ASAP so we're not adjusting times over 24 hours later.
  • You must stick with the same car throughout the rally - if you change, your times for those stages will be defaulted.
  • If you are new to Richard Burns Rally, we have provided a set of guidelines and links to help you get up and running: Here

Drivers:

Our next Rally is open for sign-up.

Something bold and different, with a new challenge. One for the Night Owls. :moon:

This Rally comes from a proposal from two members who had both come to the same idea. Roy Magnes and Pete Mull got together and dreamed up plans for an all night Rally. These guys will try anything in their quest for an advantage, lol. :poke:

For this Rally, we drive the great little N4_S2000_1 cars. These should be familiar to most of us by now, they are 4WD pocket rockets, handle really well, and perform well above their horse-power.
To ensure some variety in cars, we have added the restricted selection option. You must select your car from the available list in the sign-up, so early sign-ups get a bigger choice of cars. Don't worry, all cars are closely matched in performance, but may have slightly different handling characteristics.

The Stages chosen are all default RBR Stages, spread across most Countries. They cover both Gravel and Snow surfaces. The weather is good for all Stages, but the real challenge for this Rally will be the Night driving. Make sure to eat your carrots to improve your night vision.

DRIVER BRIEFING NOTES:

1. All of the cars in this Pack are a delight to drive. They are down on horsepower, but make up for it with superb handling. Try to keep the revs high to get the most out of these little rockets.

2. RBR Pacenotes (where available) are designed for default cars, Normal conditions and Good weather. Please remember to adjust your speeds to suit the car.

3. Tyre selections are the drivers responsibility. If you use the automatic tyre selection option in RSRBR2011, please beware that sometimes it may give you the wrong tyre for the conditions. Always double check your tyres, it is critical, especially for the Snow Stages .

If requests are made for any additional time zones, or changes to Start times to better suit your local needs, we will try to include them ( but within the Monday/Tuesday periods).

Big thanks to Roy and Pete for the suggestion, and to Damien for the great banner. :thanks: :thanks::thanks:

Good luck all, I hope you enjoy driving in the dark, and make sure you don't damage the headlights. :ups: :rally:

Yes, you're true, give me the VW Polo, it is the only one with 2WD, and maybe the less powerful.

Are you sure about that Seb, I know it says 2WD in the description but I think that is wrong? Often these descriptions are wrong in RSCenter.
I have driven the Polo before (and I quite like it) and it sure handles and performs like a 4WD. I have found the Polo to be very competitive with the other cars in this group.
In fact, all cars in the N4_S2000_1 car pack are very similar in performance.

First club race, first online race, and it's a night race . I'm doomed! Doomed!
