I would suspect that the Skoda needs a "reserved" and calm driving style like you need with the most modern Rally cars of today. My style is a bit more like the old days (mid 90's and back) which is a bit more sideways and flamboyant which suits the N10 to 14 Subarus

At least the Subarus actually have a rear wing!
