You probably tried this anyway Senad, but just in case.

I've had a couple of incidents previously where I have stalled the engine, and couldn't restart it. However, by using the "Call for help", the little push from the crowd seeemed to restart the engine for me, and I was able to continue on and finish.

Yup, I remember when you mentioned it the first time, I always try that.


BTW, Dariusz, disastrous second run or not, you're currently in the lead

And 20 seconds faster than Eckhart's stage win :tongue:

Don't count the OC run for me, I tested first with the Pug and had the same problems as last night. After that I have called for help, just when I should continue RBR quits.
Then I continued with the Focus and had no problems with game, more with my driving

Holy cow!!!! That was extremely slippery and tricky, but I really had a lot of fun. The whole time, you feel like you are on a knife edge, and any second your Stage would be wrecked.
I actually found the Escort much better than I expected, maybe it liked the icy stuff.

SS02 I was hugely lucky, rolling the car as I went over the finish line, phew!!.

SS03 and SS06 (Bisanne both times) I crashed on the downhill sections, killed the engine, but after calling for help, the spectators push started me and I was able to finish, very lucky.
All other Stages went quite well.

Thanks to Rick, Damien, Glenn for the TS chatting, plenty of disaster stories tonight. Tomas joined us on TS, but sadly his microphone didn't seem to be working.

Sorry Eckhart, I had a good run on SS04, but I hope I didn't steal your Stage win. :wink:

If I was 20 seconds in front, and you had a good run, I'm afraid you'll feel the wrath of Eckhart :eek:

Also, Tomas, I don't mind including your results, does anyone else? Technical issues with the car obviously, not really your fault.

Rick Bamford: 1 stage win :star:
Eddie Mann: 1 stage win :star:

Out of 4 French stages, Dariusz had the fastest overall times on all except Joux Verte, where Warren was the fastest.


Sorry Eckhart, your stage win was good for 4th overall. Ah, those uncooperative Aussies, what can you do


Big thanks to Warren for putting this one up together, and Lee for the nudge. 'twas challenging, and frustrating, and scary. Hope to see it again soon arrot:

Well done to Rick and Dariusz, both very close again. Dariusz just keeps collecting more Stage wins, so it is only a matter of time before he puts together 8 great stages and leaves us in his wake. :wink:

Sorry Eckhart, but you still had a good overall Rally, there is a lot to be said for a steady right foot with this Monte Carlo Mod.

Good to see so many drivers daring to try this very demanding mod, and a good spread of cars over the Rally too, no car seemed dominant.


Huge thanks again to Senad, the results / server king, and Damien, the banner genius.

Hope to see you all next week, I quite like this car pack, so we might run it again next week but on a more traditional gravel Rally, maybe England. I'm sure these cars will be totally different to drive on gravel. (I'm also lazy and running out of time to test anything new). This would make a nice warm up for everyone in preparation for Round 2 of the League, the following week.

Go the SKODA!, thanks to Warren and Senad for setting up another great rally.

Overall i was glad i could finish all stages, went into this rally with a couple of practices so was hoping to stay close to the leaders.
Calling for help on SS6:frown: dropped me down even further in the later stages, and with Warren and Rick posting quick times, any mistakes were very costly, i enjoyed this one.. going sideways is always fun!:wink:

Congrats to Warren, Rick and Dariusz well done:eek:, looking forward to nxt one:wink:.

I,m quite surprised on finishing 3rd as my second run was really disastrous and 4 stage win, didn't expect that . I need to send some replays to you Senad from that 2nd run, had a few funny moments, maybe you can add something to your video. I hope we will see some more of this MC mod in future, i really enjoyed this slippery stuff. WD Warren, Rick and all who took part, not an easy drive but soooo much fun

Good news on the movie Senad, but be careful not to overload yourself.

I'm attaching three replays showing my crashes, SS03, SS06 (Bisanne downhill both times ) and my embarrassing end to SS02 which didn't affect my time, but not a nice way to greet the timekeepers.

I've also included my neat Kankunen Escort skin (just use the Skin Manager to install it to the Escort WRC). Obviously a very lucky skin, if someone wants to use it next week. :wink:

I'm going to test this today to see if I get the same problem as Tomas was having. If so, I'll remove the Peugeot from the list for next week.

Tomas, does this only happen when running on-line or also in Play Alone as well??

Got parts of your replays in as well. Not a huge task, since you're no fun and rarely crash
