MIDLAND F1 START WITH A BANG
After an enthralling duel to the death, Midland F1 and Daniel Higgins win their first grand prix. After a poor start from pole sitter and reigning champion Thomas Hackel, necomer Linus Brostrom and the Midlands of Higgins and Brian Clancy ran ahead, before Clancy's transmission failed on lap 22. From there on in, the Red Bull and Midland couldn't be seperated, and a late charge from Honk Racing was too little too late. Daniel said "It's always good to win, but after being taken over, I had my doubts about Midland. Luckily, my fears were unjustified!"
Over the moon after an astonishing 4th was Super Aguri driver Adam Eggbeer. Aguri Suzuki fought back tears as his team fought off competiton from such famous faces as Ondrej Kapal, Sebastien Levret and Omer Said, recovering from a misfiring engine.
