    RACE RESULTS
The championship results can be found by following this link

    Calendar
For the last couple seasons our league races have been strictly 100% distance. Sometimes that can get dreadfully boring, depending on the circuit. Also, in the past we have run on a bi-weekly (fortnightly) race schedule, but if we are to follow the F1 calendar we will see 5 back-to back race weekends. For those reasons we have decided on a mix of 100% and 50% race distances for the season. You will find most of the classic grand prix circuits have been designated for 100% distance. The calendar and distances are listed below:

March 26 - Grand Prix of Australia 50%
April 9 - Grand Prix of China 100% (changed to 50% due to connection issues)
April 16 - Grand Prix of Bahrain 50%
April 30 - Grand Prix of Russia (Sochi) 50%
May 14 - Grand Prix of Spain 100%
May 28 - Grand Prix of Monaco 50%
June 11 - Grand Prix of Canada 100%
June 25 - Grand Prix of Europe (Baku City Circuit) 50%
July 9 - Grand Prix of Austria 50%
July 16 - Grand Prix of Great Britain 100%
July 30 - Grand Prix of Hungary 50%
August 27 - Grand Prix of Belgium 100%
September 3 - Grand Prix of Italy 50%
September 17 - Grand Prix of Singapore 50%
October 1 - Grand Prix of Malaysia 50%
October 8 - Grand Prix of Japan 100%
October 22 - Grand Prix of USA (Austin) 50%
October 29 - Grand Prix of Mexico 50%
November 12 - Grand Prix of Brazil 100%
November 26 - Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi 100%

    Excellent job Karl .

Wish we could do the old stats spreadsheets. Such shame they disabled the ability to see everyone's lap times in the lobby afterwards. There's just not enough time in the post race to grab them

yeah, I guess we could all take a quick snapshot of our own times and hope that would be good enough. We could all do. with the home button and then the y button. With the new operating system.

I have a theory that there would be enough time if everyone didn't advance on their screen at the end.... last race it seemed to have an extended period and i almost got everyone's lap times captured in my video, missed only 2, but then of course my video didn't work.
I think the first person to advance the screen at then end of the race forces everyone else to advance.

It's interesting because when I play solo, there is no countdown clock. Of course, you can't go to qualify, but I can look at all the practice times I want before it times out.

Exactly. I just wish they would go back to the same format as before where we could grab all the times from the lobby.

I must say, just noticed, but very good choices on the 100% tracks.

Also, Karl, what would you think of doubling any score from a teammate-less driver? That way we could have a WCC of sorts, even if not perfect.

Not a bad idea but I think doubling the score is too much. Especially as two of the teammate-less drivers are two of the fastest in this league. That would unbalance the constructors too much. Maybe something along the lines of points not scored by human drivers allocated on the basis of the teams human drivers finishing position. So for example...

Sauber would score 25 points for Karl finishing first and 8 for the team.. based on those 'team' points being allocated for 6th place as I think only 5 humans finished the race.

Other than that maybe half points of the human driver but I think that still my be too much of an advantage.

That's too complicated (so Karl will probably like it). But to allay your concerns somewhat, I'd propose we *shall* add A.I. for a single driver team on the same team at "expert" level. Sauber for Karl, and so on, until we run out of people or we need a few more non linked ones to reach 12. That makes it most realistic to me, because you can actually race the other guy, and no guarantee where he finishes. It's flexible per race too.

Plus, if I encounter an A.I. I might give him more room than Karl. lol.

    It's simple lol.

Don't think Karl is too keen on running AI for the team humans are in because you've no way of knowing when they will pit and that can cause a problem. But I'll let him confirm that. No problem for me either way.

Might be better/simpler/easier for me to just team up with Craig.
